I do not see the engine I want. Can you get it?
If you do not see the desired engine, transmission, or parts you have been searching for, please give us a call at 888-536-0888 to check stock availability. Some parts sell very quickly and we do not have time to list them on this website.
What are the payments methods you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Checks over the Phone, Money Orders, Cashier’s Checks, and Bank Wire Transfers.
Do you sell transmissions separately?
Yes, depending on the stock availability. Please call.
How long does shipping take?
This depends on the state you live in. Usually it takes about 1-6 business days for the engine to be delivered to you. Parts are shipped free of charge via UPS ground. If you need them faster, please contact us for overnight or express shipping quotes.
How many miles are on the JDM engines?
Used Japanese engines and transmissions average 10-50k miles. This fact is mostly because of the bi-annual car inspection, or Sha-ken in Japan that determines whether it is cost effective for a person to keep his/her vehicle.
When is my engine going to be shipped out?
Products that are in stock ship within 48 hours from the time your payment clears. During this time we compression test your engine, clean it, tie it down to a 4x4 pallet, and shrink wrap it.
How is my engine shipped?
We use freight companies such as Yellow Freight, Overnite, and RNL Carriers. All shipments are fully insured.
What is the fastest way I can get my engine?
Bank Wire Transfer is the fastest way to pay us. Engines usually ship out within 24 hours of us receiving the payment. If you pay by any other method, it will take about an extra business day.
Do you provide a tracking number?
A valid tracking number is given after the engine has been shipped. You may track your shipment over the phone as well as online.
Do you provide invoice/receipt with my purchase?
Your invoice/receipt is emailed to you in the pdf (Adobe Acrobat). It can also be faxed or sent through the mail if you prefer.

How does the free shipping work?
As long as you live in the continental USA, the shipping is on us. Shipping is free for business and residential addresses. Free liftgate service is available in certain areas.
Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii takes about 10-14 days and is $375. Shipping to Puerto Rico is $200.
What are your business hours?
We are open Monday through Friday 9:00 AM till 6 PM PST (Pacific Standard Time)
Saturday by appointment only.
Is local pick up available?
Yes, you are welcome to pick up your engine / parts at our Southern California location. A 7.75% California Sales Tax will be added to your total.
Do you charge sales tax?
We are obligated to charge 7.75 % California sales tax for all orders shipped within California and all local pickups, unless you have a CA RESELLER CARD.
All orders shipped outside of California are not charged any sales tax
Is installation available?
Yes, installation is available at our Southern California facility in Palm Springs. Please call us to schedule an appointment.
What does the warranty cover?

Do you provide sponsorships?
Unfortunately there are no sponsorships available at this time.
Can I place the order over the internet?
We do have a Google Checkout or Paypal options for a secure online shopping. However, we believe it is always best to talk to a live person over the phone. Our experienced staff will be glad to answer any technical questions you may have.
Are motor mounts included with my engine?
Engine mounts are included as accessories only. If we receive them from Japan, we will send them to you. This still does not mean the mounts may not be torn or broken. You may purchase brand new replacement mounts or an aftermarket mounting kit such as Avid Racing from us.
Can you build a custom engine for my car?
Yes, we can take on custom engine building jobs. Whether it is Honda, Nissan, Toyota, turbo or naturally aspirated setup, we can build anything you may desire. Please contact us for pricing.
How do I use the right hand drive wiring harness?
On Honda applications, it is easier to use the old USDM harness, and just splicing and extending it. If you are buying a turbocharged engine, we highly recommend the uncut harness option for the easiest possible installation. Front clips are also available.
Can you get right hand drive cars/shells?
Yes, we do receive right hand drive cars and rolling chassis in our shipments from Japan. Please contact us for the currently available vehicles. Please call or email us for current stock!
What does JDM stand for?
Japan Domestic Market. Basically, products manufactured in Japan that are not availble for sale anywhere else, unless exported.
Do I need any other parts to complete the installation into my car?
That is a very difficult question. You have to understand that though the engines are complete, that does not mean that you can just bolt it to your chassis, start the vehicle, and drive away. Please do your own research on what parts are required for the installation of a specific engine for your application.
